PROTECT YOUR FAMILY, HOME, AND COMMUNITY:

Support the Responsible Use of Pesticides and Fertilizers

Pesticide products provide us, our families and our communities with pest-free homes and schools, as well as well-maintained lawns, playgrounds, sports fields and other outdoor spaces that are valued and enjoyed. Effective and proper use of pesticide and fertilizer products control pests that transmit disease, such as mosquitoes and ticks, and weeds that cause allergic reactions, including ragweed and poison ivy.

Many misconceptions exist about the use of pesticide and fertilizer products, which have led to such efforts to restrict or, in some cases, even ban the use of these products is select areas. Access to these products is important to maintaining the health and well-being of my family, as well as the property value of my home and community.

PETITION

We, the undersigned, support the proper use of pesticide and fertilizer products to protect our families, homes, and communities from pests including insects, rodents, and weeds. We ask our state and local government to maintain access to these products by homeowners as well as schools, municipalities, and parks and recreation departments.
