Save That Yard

Winners of our Save That Yard contest uploaded pictures of their “desperate” landscapes and pleaded their case for a professional lawn intervention.

Watch as our winners’ lawns go from boring to beautiful, thanks to help from local landscapers Cornerstone Solutions Group in Tampa, Fla. and Monaco Enterprises, Inc. in Buffalo, N.Y. Along the way, these experienced professionals offer some valuable tips and guidelines on recreating similar results in your yard.

Tampa
Donald Chatman of Wesley Chapel, Fla., was frustrated with his lawn after losing his battle with invasive weeds and troublesome pests, such as chinch bugs. He knew a professional makeover would give him (and his lawn) a fresh start. Watch as Peter Klinkenberg of Cornerstone Solutions Group installs a new design plan for his yard and learn more about Peter’s tips for creating your own attractive lawn and landscape.

Buffalo
Nathan and Liz Smolka are native New Yorkers who recently became new homeowners and also new parents. With their five-month-old baby, Isabella, and full-time jobs, these new homeowners needed help figuring out where to start and how to create an easy-to-care-for outdoor space. Follow along as local landscaper Kevin Monaco and Buffalo area lawn care products expert, John White, rescue the Smolkas’ lawn and help them learn about future care and maintenance.
